Dear Bitpie Users:

Due to Apple’s official mandate, Bitpie Wallet is no longer prohibit user from doing mnemonics screenshots (but we will still be alerted on the relevant page).

In the past, because Bitpie Wallet had prohibit users from doing mnemonics screenshots on Android & iOS, it effectively stopped the user from store the mnemonic screenshots in the gallery or even uploading them to the cloud disk, which greatly reduced the user's improper storage and the probability of losing coins. Therefore, Bitpie Wallet has been called "conscience wallet" and "safe wallet" by users.

Bitpie Wallet has always attached great importance to the security of the user's mnemonic and always maintains the most rigorous level in the industry, which may affect the experience of some users, but we always think that "security is the basis for everything", Bitpie Wallet will work hard to improve the user experience on the basis of security.

Since Apple enforces all applications to comply with their specifications on the review terms, our ban screen feature has been requested to be modified, so starting with version 4.1.3, Bitpie iOS version will no longer prohibit user screen mnemonics.

In spite of this, we still have to exhort users: Do not take screenshots of mnemonics, do not store them in networked devices, write them down on a paper or store them in Frozen Armor…
